Carl's Jr Yokosuka

For some reason, whenever I eat at American chain restaurants, it always seems to be burger joints. This time I tried Carl's Jr (from California) for the first time in Japan! I was not aware that Japan had Carl's Jr! I thought Yokosuka only had this burger joint to cater to the foreigners in the area, but it appears that there are more locations around Kanto (mainly in Tokyo). I haven't had a Carl's Jr burger since I was probably in grade school, so my memory of it isn't too clear, but I must say I was very impressed with Japan's Carl's Jr! My friends and I ordered all the same thing, the BLT Chicken Sandwich. I am not a huge fan of beef patties, so I usually get anything with crispy chicken. And I am glad I did, the burger came out nice and hot, but not enough to burn your mouth while biting into the morsel. The chicken filet was very juicy and tender. The only thing I wish I had done was order it without bacon (not a huge fan of it since it is too salty for me). The sauce that's in this burger is only what seems like just mayonnaise. I wish they had some sort of sweet/ spicy sauce, but overall I was very pleased with it. This burger was honestly probably better than the ones they serve in the States!
