Seibuen Amusement Park

Not the best, but fun all the same

We weren't overly impressed on our first visit to Seibuen many years ago, before renovations that were completed in 2020. But on our visit recently we had a lot of fun and left with a better impression. Maybe because my kids are old enough now to go on all the rides. Not that there are many - there's only about twelve. The Godzilla attraction is the saving grace of the park. The retro shopping street is nice enough too and has some surprisingly good food. The illumination is nowhere near as good as it used to be, but there's something nostalgic about it. I give it four stars because parts of the park are very photogenic. Moreover, you don't have to queue for any ride (because the park isn't busy even on a weekend), except the Godzilla one!
