Ogouchi Shrine

Great views of Lake Okutama from this shrine

On its own, Ogouchi Shrine is not all that remarkable. However, if you're in the area I still think it's well worth a visit because of the views you can get from here. The shrine sits on the shores of Lake Okutama, and you can enjoy views out over the water from the grounds. The shrine itself has a very tranquil, relaxed atmosphere, and I think that's a big part of the charm.
