Yokohama Marine Tower
The Yokohama Marine Tower (横浜マリンタワー) was opened in 1961 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the opening of the port. It was working as a light house for several years, but nowadays it is not in operation anymore. The tower was renovated and reopened 2008 as an observatory. The tickets you can get at the first floor. Admission fee is 750 yen. On the second floor you will find the elevator bringing you to the 29th & 30th floor. From up there you have a nice view of the Yokohama port area, and if the weather is good even to Mt. Fuji. In the ground floors you can find a souvenir shop, two restaurants and a bar. There are also two halls you can rent for (private) events.
