Hearty meals in Itoigawa

Agefuji is a tonkatsu specialty store in the Itoigawa area of Niigata, but they do have more than just tonkatsu on their menu. If you are a tonkatsu fan, though, I would happily recommend a visit here -- they have a few different set meal options incorporating it (including a smaller portioned ladies set), and they're served with the Niigata specialty of koshihikari rice which is absolutely delicious. They also do gyukatsu using Aussie beef, fried shrimp, ginger pork, tempura and soba, udon, etc...a fairly comprehensive offering of hearty Japanese favorites.
