Soba and tempura by the hearth

Kanaya is a lovely spot for some soba and tempura in the Murakami area of Niigata, particularly as we roll into the colder months. It's super cozy and you get to dine by a traditional irori, which is just so lovely! Would go back again for the atmosphere alone, really!
