Transformed cafe, now a craft store
The heritage shop building across from Noda City's Atago Shrine has been transformed from a cafe to a craft venue. It's no longer a spot for cake and tea. The antique shop house is now a craft goods venue with pop-up events and displays of artists' works. See the website for more details about their goods and events. https://cocobouquet.crayonsite.info/

Small, cozy cafe in central Noda City
Cross to the south side of the street from Atago Shrine and you’ll see a retro building with a big tree and a parasol in front. This is Kurara, a community cafe that serves coffee, cake and light meals. All the produce served at the cafe comes from a organic community farm in the city. The farm is part of an initiative to teach people about food security and organic growing. Periodically the cafe hosts live music events for which there is a cover charge. The cafe is also a gallery space for local artists to display and sell their work. This is a good place to take a quiet coffee break while you’re in central Noda City. It’s cool in the summer with it’s high ceiling to the rafters, and warm in the winter in front of the wood stove. Note the cafe is open between 11:30am and 5:00pm.
