Best gyoza of my life (but they are different!)

I'd say that I like gyoza, but I don't love gyoza. That all changed when I went to Fight Gyoza though, and I'm firmly in the "love" camp with their version. They make their gyoza differently than what you'd normally expect. The filling itself is pretty par for the course and like a normal gyoza, but the exterior is where they shake things up a bit. They use a thicker dough and they deep fry them in a wok rather than the usual steam/pan fry game, and so they are crunchy and delicious. Cheap, too! 10 gyoza set me back 480 yen and I wasn't able to come close to finishing them, even on an empty stomach. They only take cash so be sure to have some yen on you. Also, depending on the time of your visit you may have to wait a little to get in (there's often a line - they're that good).
