Sliver of heritage garden
In the Nakayama area of Ichikawa City, on the approach to Hokekyoji temple complex, there is a tiny garden and heritage house. The house, donated to the city in the 1990s, serves as an information centre and exhibition venue. The garden has two pavilions, some stone garden statuary, and attractive feature trees. It's quiet and not much to look at most of the year. I recommend going in Hina Matsuri season as it's one location that displays hina dolls. The parking area has a Hello Cycling bicycle rental station. Admission is free, and it's open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
