Map Pins #7 - Custom Cup Noodle workshop

Make my own cup noodle and decorating it was on my wish list for a long time. On a day trip to Kamakura we visited the CupNoodles Museum in Yokohama. The entry ticket is priced at 500 yen and to build your own cup noodle you have to buy another pass for 500 yen to the My CUPNOODLES Factory. The museum itself has quite interesting exhibits tracing the history of cup noodles till todays date. The most exciting part is of course designing your own cup. The staff does speak English and guides you to a table with the cups when you arrive at your designated time. They brief you about the whole process and leave you at the table with markers where you can draw your heart out. Once you've finished the designing you line up to fill in your cup. You can choose your soup base from 4 varieties and toppings from 12 options available. The staff handles all the packaging and hands you the cup. You can choose to get these balloon slings to place the cups in which allows you to wear them like a shoulder bag. This was such a fun experience and I would definitely recommend you'd visit once especially if you have kids or you are a cup noodle fanatic adult yourself! You can buy the tickets at the counter of their website beforehand. I would suggest to book them online in advance so you can choose your time slot as per your convivence when you're visiting from a far away place.
