The Best Tendon I Have Ever Eaten

I stumbled upon Makino Tendon by chance during my trip to Kyoto. People were lining up, and usually that is a pretty good indicator of a good restaurant. Luckily, I did not have to wait in line because they have a system that can call you 20 minutes before your turn. The tendon itself was the best I have ever had! It is quite large though, so I recommend going on an empty stomach. They have three main tendon options and the prices are not bad for the amount of seafood you get. I highly recommend trying their anago tempura.
