Nihachi

Aesthetic cafe

Nihachi is a cafe located along the old merchant's area of Murakami, and it's quite aesthetic -- it still has the traditional charm you'd expect, but with a nice renovated modern touch. You have to take your shoes off to enter (there's a little genkan area + cubby spaces for your shoes) so just keep that in mind! They had three different lunch sets when I visited -- either a roast pork bowl, a beef stew, or a penne pasta dish, which you can get with a drink of your choice for an extra 200 yen.
