Gold leaf ice creams in Tokyo

If you have friends or family coming to visit Japan and they want the gold leaf ice cream experience but they're not headed to Kanazawa, there IS a place in Tokyo that sells them! Uhei is located in the Asakusa area (about 5min on foot from the station), and they serve up gold leaf soft serve cones, ice cream cups, and even gold leaf topped drinks if you're feeling thirsty. Pricey (the gold leaf ice cream is 1000 yen), but for the fun/gimmicky value I think it's worth it. Definitely cheaper than getting the shinkansen to Kanazawa, but I would still recommend a visit there to anyone who has the chance to go! ;)
