For many years the number of outdoor cafes in Tokyo were so limited, you could practically count them on one hand! But in recent years, thankfully there has been an increase in the number of restaurants and / or cafes that have outdoor seating. Like Global Ring Cafe in Ikebukuro, which opened in Nishi Ikebukuro Park around 2019. Before the cafe opened the park was pretty boring, with just a cement courtyard. The cafe added a bit of warmth and color. The food / drink is nothing to write home about, but the location and outdoor seating area is what makes it.
