    Celebrating Australia-Japan relations

Australia House is building in the Tokamachi area of Niigata that celebrates the relationship between Australia and Japan, and it was created back in 2009 as part of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale (definitely an event you should visit). The original building was destroyed because of aftershocks from the 2011 earthquake but reopened in mid 2012. Cool for architecture fans and art lovers since they host some different cultural art events here throughout the year.
