Known for their beef stew, but nice for coffee/tea and cake too!

Sabo Usei is a restaurant/cafe in the Mitsuke area of Niigata, and they're known locally for having some top notch beef stew -- so if you're looking for a warming, hearty, savory meal and you're in this part of Japan it's worth checking out. In saying that it's a lovely spot for some coffee/tea and cake, too, with the dessert options seeming to rotate on a regular basis. There's enough parking on-site to accommodate 7 vehicles, I didn't have any issues snagging a spot.
