I was so happy to see Milky Way in Seijo Ishi yesterday. I bought two of the 180 gram packs of mini size Milky Way because I don't know when I'll see them again. I don't think I've ever seen them on sale in Japan before. But according to the Internet they are manufactured in Japan, by Mars Japan. As you will see in the negative features paragraph below, they are a bit different to home, but they still tasted good and my kids were as delighted to see and eat them as I was! They specifically say 'mini size' rather than 'bite size'. I would speculate that is because for children they are larger than a bite size, maybe two bites. But for an adult you could eat it in one bite!

The cocoa flavor of Milky Way isn't available in my country. At least I've never seen or tasted it. So when I picked up this product I thought I was buying the one that I am used to from home, which has a white whipped cream filling. The filling in Japan is brown because rather than just whipped cream they use whipped cocoa cream. It does taste good, but not as good as the original flavor and it was not what I was expecting so I was a little disappointed. Also, it is far more expensive here than at home, even though, from what I can tell it is manufactured in Japan so its not like there are import costs.
