The description
Suntory's Tennensui flat drinks are fortified with vitamins. This version is Kiritto Yogu, yogurt flavoured. The 590 ml bottle has vitamin B6 and niacin.
The good
There's nothing wrong with plain old tapwater hydration. For something different, I went for a 590 ml PET plastic bottle of Suntory's Kiritto Yogu. The line of drinks, Tennensui, includes two fruit flavours, and this one, yogurt-flavoured. It's flavoured with fermented milk with lemon juice. The label appeals with "freshly picked lemons" and indicates that each bottle provides more than a day's worth of vitamin B6 and niacin. It also contains low amounts of potassium and phosphorus. It's smooth and tangy.
The not so good
Suntory's Suntory's Tennensui Kiri to Yogu is easy to drink and flavourful. It's reasonably priced and according to the label, it provides more than the recommended daily intake of two vitamins. I gave the other two fruit-flavoured drinks, one orange and mango, and the other grapefruit. I had assumed they would have a lot of sugar. The label and product site indicates that Kiritto Yogu's second ingredient is corn syrup. I had mine chilled. The product site says the PET plastic bottle can be frozen, too.
