If you're a fan of Chiikawa at all, I would recommend heading in to your nearest 7-11 store at the moment! They've got a wide range of different collaboration items on their shelves at the moment, including several types of steamed buns with various fillings. This curry bun has a cute depiction of Hachiware on it (one of the main Chiikawa characters), which makes it feel a bit more fun than your average steamed bun. The curry filling inside is mild, so it's even suitable for kids IMO -- no real spice level detected! Price-wise, I feel like it's pretty decent too at 170 yen. A nice snack for on-the-go or even as a lighter meal when you pair it with something else (maybe some veg or salad for balance).

Obviously this is just a limited-time collaboration, so there's a fairly short window that people will be able to get their hands on these. My local 7-11 store also doesn't stock curry buns as a regular thing, just from time to time, so I'll be sad to see this one go! If you were expecting a curry bun with a bit of spice, you might feel a bit let down, as this was a very mild curry filling IMO. Overall though, super cute and super yummy, and I would happily recommend this to any curry lovers out there. Head in to your nearest 7-11 store sooner rather than later if it sounds appealing to you!
