Things I didn't try early on: Really appreciating the tea culture here

If I had to pick my #1 caffeinated beverage of choice, I'd say it was coffee. Because of that, when I first moved here I was more inclined to seek out cafes based on that, rather than embracing the tea culture here. That feels a bit silly to admit, now, because I am a tea lover, and I wish I'd just delved into it earlier.

I've had some really cool tea-related experiences here, including getting to go on a trip some years ago now with City-Cost to Shizuoka, where several other bloggers and myself were able to sample a wide range of teas at different spots in Mori Town.

A bit more Tokyo-centric, I would highly recommend Tokyo Saryo, where you can compare and contrast different tea types in a really modern setting.

If you're a tea drinker, have you fully jumped into the tea culture here yet?
