Yogurt is one of my staple foods that I almost always have in my fridge at home, and I typically buy a mix of different flavors so I don't get bored. Those flavors are typically fruity-based ones, so I was intrigued when I saw this new "POPingurt yogurt" from Nippon Luna at 7-11 recently. Instead of the yogurt being accompanied by a fruit sauce or syrup, it comes with crunchy balls that have a chocolate coating in three different colors. I think it adds a fun visual appeal and I can absolutely see the novelty in a product like this! If you already like the crunch of granola with your yogurt, for example, you'll probably like this quite a bit.

I typically serve my yogurt (even flavored ones) with fresh fruit or granola so that it feels a little more healthy, filling, and balanced. Adding crunchy chocolate balls as a topping option feels like it veers more into "dessert territory" than meal territory if that makes sense, but that's a personal feeling -- your mileage may vary! Overall, I think it's a fun way to get people eating more yogurt (especially kids, who would likely get a real kick out of this!!) and I think that's a good thing. Not sure if this is going to be around for a while or just a week or two, but if it sounds appealing be sure to keep an eye out for it at the fridge section of your nearest supermarket or convenience store.
