A few stray blossoms

I went out for a walk this afternoon. Despite the weather forecast saying it would be warmer than most of this week has been with clear skies, it was very windy and that made it bitterly cold.

However, I did spy something promising:

I’m not sure which blossoms these are, but they made for a nice surprise here in the heart of winter. I may prefer the colder months more these days generally, but winter is draining and the promise that spring will return eventually is nice to see!
