Poor little Panchi!
Has anyone else been following the story of the little Japanese macaque Panchi at the Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba? He's been all over social media in the last week or so, because he was abandoned by his mother and has taken to seeking comfort from a plush toy.
He's also been struggling to find his place among the rest of the macaques at the zoo, with some physical altercations taking place. All I can think is poor little Panchi!

He's been hugged by mature monkeys. It looks like he's doing okay now.

@TonetoEdo I saw some hugging which I was happy about! I also saw him getting dragged around though and I didn't know which came first :( it all makes me a bit sad and I hope he's doing better!
