Perfect weekend for the Ojiya Balloon Festival

This past weekend was the Ojiya Balloon Festival, and we got really lucky with the weather! It has been snowing out these parts a lot this winter, but the blue skies didn't have a cloud as far as the eye could see.

This is a really fun festival to check out if you're in the Niigata area or even just visiting for a weekend. Seeing the variety of balloons over the snowy landscape is such a cool sight!
